All the driving test centres in the North East London area – Barking, Chingford, Enfield, Goodmayes, Loughton, Wanstead and Wood Green have very low pass rates in the 30 per cent region and this includes many people on their 2nd attempt, 3rd attempt or even more attempts so the actual 1st time pass rate must be extremely low. The problem is many people take their test too early before they are ready bearing in mind that you must be driving very well to counteract the nerves factor. My driving course follows the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) syllabus and will help you pass the Theory, HPT and Practical tests. The DSA are the people who will be conducting your driving test so it pays to get the very best driving tuition possible with fully structured training to keep you on track and ensure maximum value. My coaching method uses a supportive yet challenging approach to help you recognize your strengths and weaknesses and show you the best way to accelerate your progress. When you are trained up to test standard I make it a priority to do at least one mock driving test before you take the real one. All my training is based on your individual needs and my main priority is to help you become a safe and responsible driver as quickly as possible. With the excellent printed handouts and the option of computer generated driving lessons to run alongside your practical driving lessons you will be in the best position to pass your driving test 1st time as quickly and easily as possible.

 Independent driving instructors are better than big driving schools:

The Driving Standards Agency allow trainee driving instructors to charge full rate for driving lessons. These trainees have very little experience and have to pass an 'ability to instruct test' to become fully approved driving instructors and only about 30% manage to pass this test. Most of the big driving schools use lots of these trainees and there is no legal requirement to notify clients that trainees are conducting lessons. Furthermore many of the trainees that pass their test do not continue very long as they find out that they are not suited to this type of work so you risk getting either a trainee or a very inexperienced instructor. Inexperienced driving instructors generally have not had time to build up a good knowledge of the roads and driving test routes. I would strongly advise you to avoid trainees or inexperienced instructors. The big driving schools are profit motivated institutions that sell franchises to driving instructors, they are not necessarily concerned about the standard of the driving instructors they take on.   In my opinion you are much better off if you find a private driving instructor to take driving lessons with.
